Let’s use this thread to share concise weekly dinner menus for each week in December. Will you be cooking with the Cookbook of the Month (COTM) crowd from BREAD TOAST CRUMBS by Alexandra Stafford? Or will you be inspired by the selected Dish of the Month (DOTM)? The 4 finalists are all appealing to me: CHEESE BALL, LATKE, PAELLA, and POZOLE.
December is all about cookies for me – each year I say I’ll make fewer kinds, each year it’s tough to resist the lure of the favorites and the urge to try at least 1 new. My family in 4 other states still say they enjoy getting the boxes of homemade treats. All that baking means my meals in early December have to be quick and simple.
We all know plans can change, so it’s fine (practically expected) when your week gets rearranged from your posted plan. You may choose to report actuals for the prior week to share ideas with others. It’s helpful if you can include your location and how many people you are feeding. Links to recipes are always appreciated, and sources help.
